Business exhibitions are fun for all involved. Not only do businesses really get to test their practical creativity, but attendees also get to see what kind of businesses they align with most. There’s something for everyone but not everyone is a winner.
Small businesses especially don’t have the experience of events to make a big impact. It’s one of the saddest images you’ll see in the business world, when a stand full of employees is empty of guests. They just seem to get ignored and everyone walks past them. Despite being mild mannered and welcoming, sometimes you have to make a scene to get noticed. It’s standard marketing practice for when you have tried to be subtle and discreet. But just how do you go about making a scene without making a fool of yourself?
Make them want to walk in
First off your exhibition stand should not just stand out but leap out at the guests. Take a look at these stand builders which can give your arches, open floor plan rooms, pathways that light up when you step on them, amazing cube stands with a different look to each side, lights in the walls, small tables for placing books and pamphlets etc. There’s nothing you can’t do to these kinds of stands that are not just modern but also modular. They are inherently designed to look natural, such as just part of a normal interior of a building or office. This is what allows them to be more comfortable for guests but they are also elaborate in aesthetics.
A live performer
Having some kind of live performance will shake the crowd into listening and being more energetic around your exhibition. Sometimes exhibitions get a bit dull and dreary, and thus they would be better if you used the lull in the day to live things up. Perhaps some live music, a live presentation of your products, a live interview or live product demonstration is something you would like to do. This involves plenty of practice and making sure you’re comfortable with live performing. Nothing that some rehearsing and passion won’t allow you to accomplish. There should be a time and day you do this live performance so it can build up the crowd’s anticipation. Don’t just randomly walk out when nobody is expecting you, make it known to everyone at the event that this is the time you will be doing some kind of live performance.
A free gift
A way to get people on board with your exhibition is to offer some kind of gift to a random attendees. You can offer a raffle ticket draw to guests who want to partake and perhaps give them a product or service as a gift. Not only is this a public gesture of good will but also, a connection with the audience that hopefully lands you on the social media trending list.
Business exhibitions are a fierce competition. Many businesses want to captivate the audience but very few do. Using a stand that is elaborate and makes you seen from the other end of the room.
